DDR 3 1600 vs ddr3l

I ve a Lenovo Thinkpad E560 core i5 6200u ,when I check the specs it says that it has a ddr3 with 1600 MHz
I checked the task manager it says the same thing 8 gb ddr3 1600mhz . My question is : can I install ddr3l 1600mhz ? Can I install both one witch cames original ddr3 and add a other 4gb ddr3l?

ddr3 vs ddr3l is just the ddr3l is a lower power usage ram. something like normal ddr3 is 1.5 volts and ddr3l is 1.35 volts.. or something like that.. so overall a little less power usage for the ram.

My friend wants to sell a ddr3l ram . My question is can they work both the ddr3 and ddr3l in the same time without harm or instability to the system

short answer: DDR3 as RAM. DDR3 use 1.5 Voltage and DDR3L uses only 1.35V
not all motherboard accept both. dell, hp and acer are known desktop maker for ddr3L motherboard.
