DDR and DDR2

Will an AGP 8x graphics card with DDR2 or DDR3 memory work if my motherboard only accepts DDR memory. My motherboard is a PC CHIPS M848A V5.0

graphics memory is totally different (and on the gpu) than system memory, you don't need the same type (actually GPU's use GDDR(1/2/3/4/5))
