What's the best brand of DDR ram to use in an ASUS A7M266 with a AMD 1.2GHz (266fbs)?

Crucial PC2100 (when it comes out). There are other good performers, but I would personaly go with Crucial.

I've got 256megs of PC2100 from Crucial- it runs good and has been certified by every chipset maker.

How, when and where were you able to get a hand on those? They are not yet available on Crucial's Website.

They are engineering samples given to the govt.

Do you have any idea when the PC2100 DDR SDRAM from Crucial be available to the public? I really want to have my hands on them! And, I hear that DDR SDRAM aren't produced in bulks yet, are they?

They are in mass production now and will be released in near future, so I hear through the grap vine. And I bet curcials price will blow all others out of water, the PC1600 seems to be a bit lower than other companies

Someday I will stop asking all the questions!

Call Crucial and see if you can buy some engineering samples. That might work.
