Just installed an ASROCK Z790 PG Riptide LGA 1700 ATX mobo, and installed 2 sticks of G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo RGB Series AMD EXPO 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000 (PC5 48000) Desktop Memory Model and updated mobo bios to latest edition...RAM is only running at 4800 instead of 6000. Called ASROCK tech, told me to enable XMP in bios and make a couple of changes, but there is no 'enable XMP" anywhere in the DRAM menu. Here's what tech support replied: "
For your system, we suggest setting the DRAM voltage higher and adjust the primary DRAM timing manually to try. Please refer to the following steps.
  1. Go to BIOS/OC Tweaker to enable XMP Profile.
  2. Go to BIOS/OC Tweaker to set [DRAM Voltage] to [1.4V].
  3. Go to BIOS/OC Tweaker/DRAM Configuration to loss the primary DRAM timing a little bit to try.
For example;
if your tCL tRCDRD tRCDWR tRP tRAS is 16-18-18-18-36; please adjust it to 18-20-20-20-42 to try.
if your tCL tRCDRD tRCDWR tRP tRAS is 18-22-22-22-42; please adjust it to 20-24-24-24-48 to try.
4. Press [F10] to save the settings."
Again, I can't even complete step #1, as there is no 'enable XMP' in DRAM/OC menu.
