DDR2 667 CAS 4 or DDR 800 CAS 5

Im trying to decide if I should go with either

DDR2 667 @ CL 4 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231154

or

DDR2 800 @ CL 5 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231156

I've been looking around quite a bit and cant get a clear idea if its any benefit to drop to cl 4. I'd be willing to drop to 2x1gb stick rather then 2x2gb if it will increase the speed.

I'm running a T5670 Core 2 Duo 1.8ghz, 2mb L2 cache, 800mhz fsb and its got a shared video chip set, so speed is an issue, but the only thing I'm really running thats gpu intensive is WoW. I usually dont use even a gig of ram, but I'm sure I'll be using more in the near future. Prolly not more then 2gb tho.. but its not much of a price jump to go to 4gb. Better to have more then I need.

Any suggestions?

Yeah it's not worth sweating over. That's my suggestion. Just a small performance gain.

you know you can always get the ddr2 800 and underclock it right?

set it to ddr 667 and cas lat 4

more or less. the ram itself may not register as capable of 800, but if you buy the 800, your set.
