Looking at a new PC. Memory options include choice of 667 or 800 speed.
I realize, obviously that the 800 will be better
But are there any comparison tables anywhere?
Will be running in a Nvidia business platform with AMD 64 X2 6000+
Mostly everyday office, but some video and audio editing etc

Thanks in advance for any advice

that'll depend on whether you're intending on overclocking. Normally DDRII 667 will be enough unless you clock beyond 333Mhz. :D

yes.. AMD's got the memory controller integrated in the chip. But i think the benefits of synchronous frequency still apply. Something to do with dual multiplied and quad multiplied.. I don't really remember the details since i've been using intel and overclocking intel but no amd.
