Okay, as the thread name insists, I am indeed a noob when it comes to RAM (whats so complicated, right?). I currently have 4GB 'PNY 1GB DDR2 667' (1GB per slot, 4 slots total). Will be replacing 2 of those slots with 'Patriot Gamer Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066'. All I am having trouble with is determining if it will/how much it will impact my gaming (system specs in signature). I play WoW and I am currently getting a max of about 35fps in Dalaran (when it is crowded) and I want to know if it would be a worthwhile investment or if I should just save my money. Thanks in advance!
