Question Ddr2 and ddr4 for the B450 tomahawk

So I’m getting the B450 tomahawk and the ryzen 2600, I was wondering if I NEED the ddr4 ram, my current pc is very bad and old, I most probably don’t have DDR4 ram, I probably have DDR2 ram or DDR3 would that work in the B450 tomahawk or do I really need to buy DDR4 ram????

No it wont work only DDR4 is supported and i believe DDR2 and DDR3 wont even physicaly fit in the slot anyway.

You absolutely MUST use DDR4 memory in that motherboard. Neither DDR2, nor DDR3 memory will work at all. It is simply impossible.
