DDR2 Cheap 4x2gb RAM

This has most likely been asked before but i was wondering what cheap DDR2 800MHz Ram is out there. I need it to be 4x2GB of RAM. Hopefully gaming and below 80£

DDR2 is expensive, but used memory is cheaper. Check eBay as well as sites that sell used components in your area.

But i thought that DDR3 was more expensive?? as it is newer

i have found one at 150$ which is about 120£.

Im not going to fork out that much if it is only a 4gb increase

ddr2 is dearer than ddr3 nowadays as most ddr2 production has probably stopped now so its in shorter supply

whereas the market is flooded with ddr3 leading to price drops

4 x 2gb of corsair ddr2 would cost about £90

and i just bought 16gb of corsair ddr3 for £75--so twice as much memory for £15 less

Unfortunately DDR2 is much more expensive than DDR3.
