DDR2 Memory prices coming down?

hey guys. for that last 3 weeks prices for DDR2 have beening coming down fast. do you think it's gona continue or they will go back up soon.

RAM prices are very volitle.

However, whats been going on on Newegg is different.

The RAM prices are getting so low, that the modules they have get sold out in hours.

Yeah, I almost flipped when I saw 1GB sticks of DDR2 PC-5400's for only $19.99 8O

I thought the prices dropped due to better and more efficient memory production.

Also, isn't DDR3 on the horizon? Maybe the industry is trying of off-load its ddr2 stock before the next gen mobos/memory hits the shelves.

i totally agree with you. Ram prices will go up if there was demand. they won't drop down cause of vista
