Is it possible to share your SKU number for your Asus mobile computing device alongside the OS you're on at the moment? Based off of information, on the product's specifications page, the unit supports a maximum of 4GB but Crucial states that the maximum ram is 12GB's.

It'd be a good idea if you could share the stickered information for the ram you've purchased as well as the information shown in CPU-Z. These two site:
https://www.ramcity.com.au/upgrade/asus/x-series-notebook/x550ld/134022
https://www.mrmemory.co.uk/memory-ram-upgrades/asus/laptop/x550ld
state the same story of your unit supporting a maximum of 12GB's of ram when paired with the onboard memory module.
