I m planing to buy MSI 990FXA GD80 V2 mobo to put fx8350 speed 1866 n I also want to put ram with same fsb DDR3 1866. But in mobo spec memory stats it shows 1800* i m confuse now, it will suppirt 1866 or not? this mobo fits in all I need so plz help me.

Solution
What CPU? Best bet is install the sticks go to BIOS, find DOCP or EOCP and enable it, then set it to 1866 - works similar to XMP....and your mobo indicates it supports up to 2133, though few AMD CPUs can carry 2133 at 2133

Dear my question is bit different I am talking abot 990fxa gd80 v 2 ram compatibility with 1866, i tally all ram compability tool n mobo memory specs but not get satisfactory answer yet. Mobo spec said DDR3 1800 but I want to put 8gb (2x4gb) x4=32gb DDR3 1866 should i put it?

it will be fine.
and what on earth do youneed 32gb ram for?
I run 16gigs and never even come close to using it all. i too plan to upgrade to 32gb just because its my baby i want to do it lol.
but yes, you will be fine. your mother board will clock the ram to what it needs anywaays.
