Hi all.

mobo: msi a68hm-e33 v2
cpu: a8-5600k

I understand that my APU Supported memory is DDR3-1866 based on its specs and also my motherboard supports: DDR3 1333/1600/1866/2133*(*OC)

Now my question is,

I'm planning to buy GSkill RipjawsX 16GB (8GBX2) DDR3 2133 /F3-2133C10D-16GXM, will this work with my apu and mobo?

Will I be able to OC it to 2133?

2nd question,

With these Avexir AVD3U16001008G-2CIG DDR3-1600 16GB (2x8GB) Green LED

* Manufacturers part code: AVD3U16000904G-2CIG.
* System platform type: Desktop.
* Memory type & speed: DDR3-1600 (PC3-12800).
* Capacity: 16Gb (2x 8Gb).
* CAS latency: 10-10-10-24.
* Test voltage: 1.5v.
* Registered or Unbuffered: Unbuffered.
* Error checking: Non-ECC.

Can i OC it to 1866?

thanks!

Solution
Personally I wouldn't worry about OCing the RAM. If you can get 1600 or 1866 with a CAS 9 you shouldn't have a worry in the world. CAS 10 isn't bad but the lower the better and 9 is sort of a good target to take aim at for gaming. Otherwise, things would usually run as fast as the weakest part allows.

I see. thanks for your replies.

How about using these:"
http://pcworx.ph/home/catalog/product/Memory/Memory%20Desktop/MEMPANPUD32400C114G2

Part No : PUD32400C114G2LSK / PUD32400C118G2LSK
Module Type : 240 Pin Unbuffered DIMM, Non ECC
Speed : DDR3-2400 MHz (PC3-19200)
Capacity : 8GB(4GBx2) / 16GB(8GBx2)
Latency : CL11-13-13-35
Voltage : 1.65v

2400 is way beyond the speed my system can handle though.

If I use this ddr3 2400 ram:
1:) will it work with my system?
2:) Will it default to 1866 or 2133 based on the highest speed my system can use? Or do i have to manually set it to 2133 in bios using amd AMP or my mobo's automatic settings for ram?

thanks!
