DDR3-1866 vs dual channel DDR3-1600 RAM

There are two combos at the same price for g-Skill 8 gb of RAM. One of then id 1 module of DDR3-1866 RAM while the other is dual channel for a total of 8gb DDR3-1600. Which one would give me the best gaming performance??? All help is appreciated!!!

The two stick kits will let you operate in the faster dual channel mode.
Single channel, you will be getting 933 speed vs 1600 with dual channel. and... latency will be worse with 1866 ram.
Buy the 2 x 4gb kit

the 1866 is only one module or a dual and link to it .

check out my specs i started at 1600mhz at 9-10-9-28 and increased the fsb to 230 giving me 1840mhz while keeping a 53ns latency with a cheap cas 9 1866 xmp kit

The 1866 stick by itself will run at 1866 which is slightly faster than 1600, however, the two sticks at 1600 running in dual channel will be faster over all and provide better performance than a stick in single channel mode
