Hey guys I got some G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB 2133mhz ram about a year ago and popped it into my ASUS P8Z77-V LK with a i5-3570. I didn't notice for the first 8 months that my ram was under clocked for some reason so I chucked it up to 2133 and now I'm having all sorts of issues like certain games crashing aka WoW while others run stable like Bioshock Infinite. I am starting to think I was mistaken for assuming that it was supposed to be clocked at 2133 or maybe its conflicting with my mobo or cpu any idea's?

The model number for the ram is Model F3-17000CL9D-8GBXM if that helps.

Are you selected 2133 mhz by using XMP profile instead of the ASUS D.O.C.P mode ?? If not try selecting the 2133mhz speed by XMP profile. If its still not stable you try lower speeds like 2000mhz or1866mhz and check stability using Prime95 for a few hours .

ok so I am still having problems and I found this.

G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory operating voltage of 1.65V exceeds the Intel Ivy Bridge CPU recommended maximum of 1.5V+5% (1.575V). This memory module may run at a reduced clock rate to meet the 1.5V voltage recommendation, or may require running at a voltage greater than the Intel recommended maximum.

What should I do?
