DDR3 2400MHz back compatibillity

Hello
I will buy a kit G.SKILL F3-2400C11D-8GXM 8GB (2X4GB) DDR3 2400MHZ CL11 RIPJAWSX DUAL CHANNEL KIT for my new motherboard but till i buy the motherbord-next month-i want to use it in my old pc with a mobo Gigabyte GA-MA785GTUD3.This m/b supports ddr3 till 1800MHz (OC),the new DDR3 will works or not?What do you think?

as long as the RAM itself is compatible with your mobo, it will work fine. the mboard will just limit the frequency to 1800Mhz.
