DDR3 4GB Ram Upgrade for DELL Inspiron N5010

Hi,
I want to upgrade my dell inspiron 15R N5010
Stock configuration: 3gb ddr3 to 2+4 GB ram.
Tried crucial 4gb 1600mhz 1.35v did not work.

after talking to dell support only 1333mhz with 1.5v only supports.

please suggest me some other ram found in India with brand name and model if available.

side-note: please suggest any other upgrade that i can do to my laptop.

Replacing the existing hard drive with a solid state drive should speed up how fast the laptop responds to commands and loads. Won't help with games but opening programs, saving files, etc.. will all be faster by a lot.
