[SOLVED] DDr3 and DDR3L combine

Is it bad to upgarde my laptop that has 4 GB ddr3 ram with 4 GB DDr3L Ram? Or I should go for a similar DDr3 Ram?
The laptop is Lenovo E49

Although L ram can run at higher voltages it would still be best to upgrade with exactly same RAM as you have now.

Bad? There are no guarantees that will work, as there are no guarantees a similar DDr3 Ram will be compatible. Your free to try your luck.

Memory is guaranteed in the form sold. Use of identical, same thing, exact match may have a better chance of working together over the use of random modules, but are not guaranteed to be compatible together. What is guaranteed is the use of a single kit.
