I have GA-G41M-Combo Motherboard with Intel Pentium 4 E2200 2.2Ghz processor. Windows 10 64bit. I am just facing an issue with the No display. I have cleaned the PINS of 2GB DDR2 800mhz RAM and tried in a different slot still no display. I think RAM is dead. Please let me know if that is correct. If yes, which RAM should I purchase 2GB DDR2 800MHZ OR 2GB DDR3 1333MHZ OR 4GB DDR3 1333MHZ RAM. Also I am not sure if DDR3 1333mhz is compatible and if it is Compatible will it work directly or I need to do Overclocking as My motherboard manual shows 2x1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting upto 4 GB of system memory support for DDR3 1333(O.C)/1066/800MHZ memory modules

What makes you think its the RAM? If your only symptom is no display there are many more likely problems than the RAM. Did it just stop working one day? If it is indeed a hardware problem I would say your GPU or motherboard is more likely to be bad than the RAM. It could also be a software or firmware issue, you may want to try clearing the CMOS.

I have cleaned the pins of the RAM with the rubber on both the sides and also tried two different slots also but it does not work and also Removed the battery 2032 from the holder and reconnected it after few seconds but still no display and then ,I have changed it to 1gb ddr2 ram and it is working and so I assume a conclusion of RAM.

Did the ram work before? Did this happen after normal working use? Did you add any new hardware namely a GPU, video cable, etc? Are you positive all power cables are plugged in on the mother board?
