Question ddr3 graphics card choosing

What is the full pc spec including make and model if psu? What are you trying to achieve, for example us this for gaming? What resolution is your monitor?

Any modern pci express gpu will plug into the motherboard and work.
my pc spec is ram - 6 gb ddr3
processor - intel core i3-540
my gpu is geforce gt 710 ddr3 2gb
my operating system is windows 10.

Ok a 1030 would be a big upgrade and should work with a PSU that can run a 710. I cannot recommend anything higher without knowing what psu you have. Have a look at this https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GT-1030-vs-Nvidia-GeForce-GT-730/m283726vsm12582

However don’t expect to play modern AAA games at 60fps. Your cpu is far too weak for modern AAA games regardless of gpu choice but it will run older games ok. However the 1030 is not a good gpu if you want to play modern AAA games and plan to upgrade the rest of the system.

If you do upgrade your gpu just make sure your motherboard BIOS is up to date first.

Hi,
I don't think you're current pc is even worth upgrading. It's hopelessly outdated and even if you upgraded you're GPU, i'm not sure you would achieve much gaming performance, simply because the rest of your system is too old and too weak to play modern games. I suspect even light games like minecraft, would be hard on your pc.

I would personally save my money and buy a new pc instead. with the current prices, you can get a decent gaming pc, for 1200$ maybe even less.

He means buy a new system - this is bare minimum - so if you have more than $300 you can get a better system

do you think Ryzen 2200G and 2400G supports my motherboard?? because my motherboard socket is lga 1156. and Ryzen 2200G/2400G need AM4.
Obviously not supported, which is why I wrote $250-300 (the cost of CPU+MoBo+DDR4) instead of only ~$100 for the CPU.

is this system is good for gaming?..games like pes, fifa, farcry, assassin's creed, Battlefield.
Better than nearly anything you could cobble together on LGA1156 at the very least.
