DDR3 On z170

Hey, I currently have Corsair DDR3 Memory from my current build (Link)

I am upgrading my PC and have got the Asus Z170 Pro-Gaming Motherboard, I was wondering will my DDR3 Memory work on that chipset or will I have to buy DDR4 Ram?

There are skylake DDR3 boards, that is not one of them.

Here's all it supports, there are no DDR3 entries.

It's simpler than that, those are ddr4 slots, end of story, it's not that ddr3 hasn't been tested, it's simply the wrong socket.

What you said makes perfect sense where the question is does it support this speed of DDR3 etc. and certainly pointing to the QVL is always a good starting point, many can't even find the CPU list TBH.

I'd rather say they don't try to.. It's really obvious once you find one of them, you can find all of them.
