Would upgrading my ram to faster than 2133 on my z97-a offer a better solution than upgrading my total system ?

I can't imagine the clock speed of your RAM having a very noticeable effect on your performance imo.

Specs in sig. Im not just talk about games but other applications or running multi applications at once for example if i want to run bf4 in a windows while having camtasia open and youtube playing a video having half a dozen websites open

CLock speed might help a little, but more DRAM would be better, I'd look for a set of 32GB - Trident X, RipJaws X or the like in 2133/9 2400 or so
