DDR3 RAM 4GB for Asus P5G41T-M LX3

Hello! I want to upgrade my RAM
Current specs:
MB: ASUS P5G41T-M LX3
PROC: Pentium 4 (upgrading to Q9650)
Video: ATi Radeon HD 4670 1GB (upgrading to GTX 1050Ti)
RAM: 2GB DDR3 1333MHz
I want to upgrade my RAM, upgrade +4GB RAM. I read that This mobo can't run all DDR3 RAM.
Will this Kingston 4GB DDR3 1600MHz ( https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/products/90551608/kingston-4gb-ddr3-1600mhz.asp ) run on my machine (2+4gb) ?

Sorry, but Kingston memory part number KVR16N11S8H/4 is not compatible with the Asus P5G41T-M LX3.

Even if this memory module was compatible, it would not really be recommended because -

1) individual memory modules not from the same dual channel kit may not be compatible with each other, so the 4 GB module might not work with the existing 2 GB module.

2) the unbalanced configuration of having 2 GB in one slot (in one channel in this case) and 4 GB in the other slot (in the second channel in this case) does not provide maximum memory bandwidth.

3) and finally, the 1600 MHz (1600 MT/s) 4 GB module would be automatically down clocked to match the system native compatible frequency of 1066 MHz (1066 MT/s).

It is recommended that a 2 x 4 GB dual channel kit be used in place of the existing 2 GB module which could be kept as a backup or sold.

No other (2 x 4 GB) compatible Kingston memory was found at computer universe, however some other memory was found which should be compatible -

Corsair ValueSelect @ 1333 MHz

Corsair ValueSelect @ 1600 MHz

G.Skill Value Series @ 1333 MHz

Dude thanks for fast reply ! You saved me! I will try one of these kits. All the ram with "Value select" is compatible? Just to be sure, please.

Not all Value Select memory will necessarily be compatible (they will all have to be checked, and that can take some time as technical details are not always easy to find)! Only those listed above have been checked for compatibility.
