DDR3 ram downlocked itself?!?

I have a pair of Kingston 4gb(2x2gb) 1600 Mhz but after OCing my cpu n video card i noticed that my ram downclocked to about 400 mhz?!?!?

Anyone have any sugestions or fixs?

is this in windows, if so look at you cpu multiplier, sometimes it will drop from ex. a 16 to a 4
but if thats not so
and to fix it, in your overclocking menu, goto dram frequency and open up the dropdown menu and pick a higher frequency

yes im running windows my cpu multiplier is at 17.4 i belieave and when i go into my oc menu to clock my ram back to its original speed... i don't last in windows too long(system crashed after a min. aprox)

try turning up the ram voltages

I put the ram V to 1.70 and set the dram clock to 1600 mhz and it's only gone up to 800 mhz.

hmm, ohhhhhhh... are you looking in cpu-z where it says DRAM frequency, yea its at 1600mhz if you are

cpu-z and amd overdive sais its at 800 mhz, i just swiched the ram slots and its still the same

yeah, it shows as less no matter what, it is at 1600MHz it just shows it running at less dont worry about that
