I am going to build a new rig very soon, i got everything figured out except the ram because there is just so many options to choose from. I narrowed down to two ram kit with the same price and i need help in picking which one as they have identical specifications.

G.Skill Ripjaws X 1600MHz F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL (2x4gb)
OR/
Kingston HyperX FURY 1600MHz HX316C10FBK2/8 (2x4gb)

My other components are as following
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-H97-HD3
GPU: MSI GTX 970 Gaming Edition (No OC/SLI)
CPU: i5 4690 (No OC)

Also, if possible, I need your advice on the my mobo of choice, i read some reviews and it suits what I am going for, if there is a better alternative in the similar price range, feel free to suggest.

Thank you

+1 g.skill ram

The latency will be lower on those ram cards than kingston ones @ 9-9-9-24. Ram cards are kind of a boring purchase for gaming rigs as they have almost no performance gain as long as the system doesn't run out of ram and your cpu has to take files from HDD directly. My advice would be to find a pair of cards that are are compatible and call it a day.
