Good day to everyone.

I bought 2x8GB DDR3 RAM sticks to replace my old 2x4GB DDR3 RAM sticks. The problem is that when I did and turned on my PC, it just beeps and then reboot again without even reaching POST. If I put back my 2 original sticks, it boots normally.

NEW RAM: https://www.kingston.com/en/memory/gaming/kingston-fury-beast-ddr3-memory?speed=1600mt/s&total (kit) capacity=8gb&kit=single module&color=black

My MOBO: https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Fatal1ty P67 Professional/index.asp

Both my old and new sticks are the same DDR3 1600 Mhz. It's just the brand and size that are different. Or does it have also to do something with the QVL. I set everything to auto in my BIOS DRAM settings just to be sure since that is my MOBO's default also.

My BIOS does have an XMP profiling but I don't see any option to turn off XMP profiles.

Things I did:

Properly seated the new RAM / Tried inserting each RAM one and two at a time / Tried inserting them on every slots one and two at a time / Cleared CMOS then put the new sticks. I also tested the new sticks and the old ram on another PC, and they both works.

I am out of ideas how to make it work, and I cannot return the sticks to the seller anymore, unfortunately. Thank you in advance.

Solution
It has XMP enabled by default, and I can't even turn it off.
Update your mobo bios to the latest beta, and disable xmp, enable both Rank and Channel interleave if available, save and exit, and try again using the 2x8gb sticks.

I Could try to update the bios ME firmware if you do understand how to dump the bios. If asrock has such a feature then dump the bios and send it here, after bios udpate. Otherwise, you would need to dump using intel FPT with this guide, and here is the app that you need (just paste it to C: directly and extract it).

Which bios version are you on now?

3.10.. Would that be the problem? I can't find a newer version.
Newer versions of the Bios... download the latest available there
https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Fatal1ty P67 Professional/index.asp#BIOS

If that doesn't do it, enable XMP running your 2x4GB DDR3 RAM sticks to enter the BIOS

Description and How to enable XMP

You would need to install the Beta L3.19 for better Memory Compatibility but I would use the latest L3.21A to cover the PCIE as well.

Most DDR3 ram works, regardless if it is explicitly supported by the motherboard qvl list.
You might check the Kingston support app for your motherboard.
I see no obvious reason why your new ram should not work.

Regardless, the ram has a lifetime warranty.
Contact Kingston support for a RMA.
They may have other suggestions.

The P67 chipset allows ram overclocking.
That is what gets the speed to exceed the default speed.
The option to change ram specs may be hidden in an advanced tab of your bios.

How do I do this? Can't find anything about it except pressing F2/DEL

The motherboard should include a printed guide on where the BIOS jumper normally goes and where to move it to clear the BIOS or to Configure it, and it may also say the jumper removed is for Bios Recovery... and where the jumper should go to Configure mode.

If you can't find that guide on the motherboard, the user manual should have the instructions... that manual should have been included in the motherboard package, and possibly a copy of the PDF user manual may be included in the disk.
