Greetings! I have a relatively old HP e9000 desktop unit with an Intel Core 2 Quad processor. The thing is crazy slow, but I'm hoping that a simple RAM upgrade might help a bit to make it useable as a first computer for my 7 year old. It has three sticks of Micron 2GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) in it now, apparently 1.5v. I'm hoping that someone can tell me whether I can replace them with any other brand of 240-pin DDR3 RAM of the same voltage? Say, two sticks of 8GB? I know absolutely nothing about hardware compatibility. Any help would be much appreciated!
