Hi!, I`m considering to buy the i54570, I dont want to obevclock, but i found they only support ddr3 until 1600mhz, I wonder if i will have problems in the future since DDR3 1600mhz is standard today and I feel like an i54570 wouldn´t be future proof, I wonder if this CPU might use a faster DDR3 like 1800 or above 2000mhz at these speeds, anybody knows? Thanks

Not sure what will happen when attempting to use DDR-1833, but I am pretty sure it will just be limited to DDR3-1600 speeds.

Additionally, DDR3 is approaching end of life... at least for Intel CPUs. In 2015 when Intel introduces their next CPU generation, Skyrim... I mean Skylake, they will not support DDR3, they will be using DDR4 RAM.

thanks for the answers, the only question would be why did they mean DDR3 to work at 3000mhz max if intel is supporting only 1600mhz maximum and already moving to DDR4, it´s like something doesn´t make sense with intel or the technology, but anyway it´s what we have
