I am shopping for graphics cards and have noticed the different memory types. I have also heard that DDR3 is much slower than GDDR5 and other memory types. This has now got me worried since I was about to buy a Sapphire Radeon R7 250 with 2 gb of DDR3, this item has a second option to buy it with 1 gb of GDDR5. So my first question is, is 1 gb of GDDR5 better than 2 gb of DDR3?
My second question is whether or not this card will work with my current PC which is currently in desktop mode: https://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/optix/en/opti_745techspecs.pdf
I know that the card I buy must have Low Profile Brackets but from the picture I have seen, the card looks like it has the same slots and everything that it should.
Here is the link to the card I am thinking about buying:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202052&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&PageSize=10&SelectedRating=-1&VideoOnlyMark=False&IsFeedbackTab=true#scrollFullInfo
I already know that I have to install new drivers but I just need to know that once I've done that whether or not it'll work with my system.
(If you want you can recommend a Low Profile Card to me preferably under $70 it would help ALOT)
Thanks!
