Well, I ordered the 1600s, but now I'm concerned because I can't find them listed on the Asus P9X79 Deluxe QVL .

I also can't find the P9X79 Deluxe listed on the Corsair website.

I noticed that the dominator Platinum 1600s are listed as "dual/quad" but they speak of them as dual channel. Does that mean they are usable in either configuration?

Am I missing something or will they work with the P9X79 Deluxe? If they won't, I'll have to cancel the order tomorrow at the open of business.

The cardds will work on your motherboard. It doesnot matter what channel it states(I have cards that stated to be quad channel but I am using triple channel).
