Hi, I have an old Toshiba laptop it's C660 Core i3 1st generation 2g ram 1333 1.5v
I wanted to increase the memory so I bought a new Kingstone 4GB DDR3 1.35v 1600 because I did not find 1.5v 1333 ram in the market
I read that DDR3L will work with DDR3 slots with no problem
I installed the RAM and the system read it and windows 7 read it 6GB RAM using only 3GB as known
I tried to install 64bit windows 10 but I wasn't able to do that with the new RAM installed, I removed it and the installation of Windows 10 successfully done, I tried to install the new RAM again but the windows showed a problem message and didn't start, and I failed to start windows 10 with the new ram installed with the old ram or even with new ram installed alone
I tried to install Windows 7 64bit and it was the same
Is there a way to setup a 64bit Windows in my case?
