Hello everyone, im upgrading an old laptop (Toshiba C660-1MO). It originally came with 3GB of DDR3 1066Mhz (1x1GB and 1x2GB) and i tried to upgrade it to 6GB of DDR3L 1600Mhz (1x4GB and 1x2GB) however the computer doesn't seem to support as it never gets past the boot screen. Any ideas why?

Additional specs:
i3 380M (According to intel it supports up to 8GB DDR3 at 800/1066Mhz)
240GB WD Green SSD
ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5470, 512MB
Windows 10 latest build.

Can you post the part number on the module sticker for both the 2 and 4GB modules? You likely didn't buy a low density module. There are low density low power (1.35v) 4GB modules available, you just have to look for them. It will have 8 memory chips on a side. Keep in mind that the low power module will run at 1.5v instead of 1.35v if mixed with a 1.5v module.
