ddr4 2133 good enough?

I could get this ram for a good price and i was wondering if its good enough or i should go for something else.
What do you think?

Actually RAM speed matters. Watch this video, one can clearly see the higher speed ram (2666mhz) is giving about 5fps more than 2133mhz ram. If it fits your budget, then go for the RAM with the highest speed possible according to your budget.

I built my brother a pic recently and drr4 2400 actually cost the same as ddr4 2133, so I obviously went with the 2400 memory. If it's even a few $$$ more you should go for the faster ram

Sure, when you artificially create a bottleneck. OP does not strike me as someone who will spend less than $150 on a CPU and $1000 on the GPU.

Take the same test but pair the i3 with a GTX 960. Or an overclocked i7 with a 980ti. That would have me listening. Until then, I firmly believe that going out of your way and spending more money just to get faster RAM will not make a difference.

That is an old article when z170 / b150 / h110 motherboards were not released. I have read somewhere that x99 motherboards or haswell cpu doesn't takes much advantage of ram speeds in gaming. However, it is better to buy a 2133 mhz ram if it gives better performance per dollar.

I was going to buy that hyper fury x 21333, but then i realize about the mhz and how much it will affect the performance.
That why know im doubting if that hyper fury x 2133 is a good option or if i should go for something faster...

Ddr3 1600 MHz is still perfect for gaming, you will be more than fine with ddr4 2133
