DDR4 2600MHz on i7-5930k will underclock?

Hi there,
I'm about to purchase an i7-5930k processor and according to the specifications the memory type is: "DDR4 1333/1600/2133"

Is it means that higher frequency RAM memories like DDR4 2600/3000 will under-clock to 2133?
In other words, can I use these components together? or it would be a waste of money to pay for RAM memories DDR4 2600/3000?

All you have to do is OC the CPU to use the higher RAM frequencies. So yes, it will run at 2133MHz without any OC because that's where it starts, to get the higher frequencies that it offers, you'll have to OC your CPU a bit.

yes it will under clock to match the mobo specification

unless your looking for a very specific task ram is a one size fits all in the since that you just chose the size you want and dont have to worry about anything else

That is what the CPU is compatible with. You should look at what speeds your motherboard can OC to to be sure if you can use 2600 RAM. If your motherboard is compatible with 2600, it will run it at 2600.

Sure, my mobo will accept up to 3000 RAM. From your answer I Iearned that the mobo frequency rules.
However, is it necessary to OC the CPU as suggested in the previous posts?
