The HyperX Fury HX426C15FBK2/16 and the Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2A2666C16 are both in the same price range in my market, both appear to be double-sided, the Kingston has better timings on paper but the Corsair is the more popular enthusiast choice RAM, i intend to use the kit with an ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming and a 6600K, which one do you think is a better buy?

I tried to search for actual bandwidth benchmarks, i found a review for the HyperX but not for Corsair so i could not compare the numbers, which one has better chips? bandwidth? warranty or any other considerations that would make it the better choice than the other apart from timings?

Also is it worth going over 2666Mhz? anything above that speed prices jumps 25-40% so is it worth it for gaming and other applications? like FPS gains or such?

Please do not recommend G.Skill because it has very limited availability in my market and hence prices are ridiculous.

Thanks.

Hey man, thanks for stepping in, it is the 6600K

Here the lowest prices i found for the different specs:

The two 2666mhz kits i mentioned here are €75

2800Mhz €101

Corsair 3000Mhz CL15 €91

Corsair 3200MHz CL16 €101

G.Skill TridentZ 3400Mhz CL 16 €139

G.Skill Ripjaws V 3400Mhz CL16 €128

The G.Skills are only available with one single retailer for very limited quantities so no good replacement/upgrade options.

So what do you think is the best option in light of these prices? :)
