DDR4-3000 Mhz ON ASUS X99-Deluxe

We have ASUS X99-Deluxe + i7-5820k with 8x8GB Gskill F4-3000C15D-16GVRB.BIOS is the latest.Cooler is Intel stock cooler TS13a.

XMP has been set to DDR4-3000Mhz. However it ramps up the CPU clock beyond 4ghz too.Is there anyway to just increase the memory clock to 30000Mhz without increasing the CPU clock.Auto tuning sets CPU at 3.5 or 3.8Ghz & memory to DDR4-2400 mhz

Also note that this is a server running 24x7 so another question is whether it is safe to run using XMP 3000Mhz ?

The i7-5820k gets pretty hot beyond 4 Ghz, you Need a serious OC cooler for that. It is the xmp Profile Setting the CPU clock that high. You have to diasble xmp on the Motherboard or BIOS. And then you can manually increase the RAM Speed. But, I dont think you will reach 3000 without OC of the CPU. But you should reach approx. 2800 withouth increasing voltage and overclocking.

The XMP 3000 profile uses 125 strap. You would need to lower your CPU multiplier manually to bring your speed back to stock and keep your 3000Mhz RAM speed. What are your multipliers set at now?
