Question DDR4-3000 not listed, can I still use this Mobo?

Trying to get an old 6700k cpu up and running and I have DDR4-3000 for the mobo. The mobo doesnt list DDR4-3000, but it lists 2933 and 3200, and go well beyond that. Will the RAM still work? Also will the RAM work on any DDR4 mobo if i don't OC it with the XMP?

1)Yes. It should work at 2933.
2)Yes, but at lower speeds. The faster kits do not run at advertised speeds out of the box, so you must enable XMP, or enter the settings manually.

Ah I see. I appreciate the info because I was little worried there'd be a compatibly issue. 67 is hardly a loss
