[SOLVED] DDR4 3200MHz shows up as 2666MHz

I bought PNY 32GB (2x16GB) XLR8 Gaming DDR4 3200MHz Desktop Memory RAM Kit from Amazon for using with MSI Z590 Pro Wifi with i7-11700k. The MSI center and Intel overclocking apps show the ram is 2666 Mhz. Though the packaging shows as the speed as 3200 Mhz but the actual speed is only 2666Mhz. Is this a scam?

2666 Is probably the default speed. 3000Mhz and higher is considered overclocked on that motherboard. You probably just need to adjust the speed in your BIOS.
