Question DDR4 8gb-3000mhz working with 2133mhz

So my problem is i bought both i5 6400 at same time and ram DDR 4 -8gb 3000mhz had small problems and fixed but now big problem i am using 2133mhz speed while it should be 3000 (motherboard Z270-A Pro). I saw on manual 6th gen can support 3600mhz, Now i am confused.

6th gen can support such speeds and you have a Z270 motherboard, so while your CPU is locked and can't be overclocked, if you go into the BIOS and into memory settings and turn ON XMP that will set the Memory to 3000mhz. Without doing that it will always default to the base clock of 2133mhz.

That MSI BIOS makes it easy, right when you go in you're at the EZ BIOS screen, theres an XMP switch on the top left. Turn it on.
