I have Gigabyte GA-AX370-Gaming 5 mother board and Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB memories.

If I install memories in Channel B (either or both, slot 1 & 3) of the mother board then system doesn't boot.
If same memories are installed in Channel A (either or both, slot 2 & 4) then system boots.

In order to utilize Dual Channel I must install memories in appropriate slot so accordingly I installed memories (tried 2 and 4 memories).

In this case Windows is able to detect memories installed in Channel B but shows them as hardware reserved.

I have gone through various forums talking about windows configuration about memory size setting but nothing helpful. Even tried Cent OS but issue persists.

What can possibly wrong that system can detect size of the memory but shows it is hardware reserved and if memory is installed in only channel B then system doesn't even boot.

Thanks for your reply. I referred the manual. Two problems.
  1. If single RAM is used in any of slot from Channel B then system doesn't boot. Even BIOS boot up options are not visible.
  2. If dual channel is used and memories are installed as per specified in manual then system shows memory from channel B as hardware reserved.

I had purchased as single modules.
As per Corsair website memory supports Dual Channel.

Part number: CMK16GX4M1B3000C15.

CPU - Ryzen 7 1800x

Biggest doubt is motherboard should work or not if single memory is installed in Channel B. Because if memory is installed in Channel A then board works but if single memory module is installed in Channel B socket then board struck in boot loop.

Thanks.
