Hi,

I'm currently building a new gaming pc. I was wondering if the DDR4 Corsair dominator platinium 2x16GB 3200MHz is compatible with the Asus Maximus viii formula motherboard. I will be using a intel i7 6700k. I saw a couple building videos using those specs (BitWit with the Nzxt s340 elite case). However, i read a couple forum posts saying that people were having issus with this match.

I'm now asking you for help and hoping you can guide me with a better selection of DDR4 if it isn't compatible. (I really like the aesthetic of the dominator. I'm trying to do a black build)

Thanks a lot :D

You wont see any difference in performance numbers, just go with the 2x16 so then you have room for an upgrade later on, unless you plan to never upgrade, as 4 dimms may look a little better in the board IMO.
