I intend to upgrade my mobo for this: Gigabyte A-H270M-GAMING 3

Found a DDR4 memory but doesn't say if it's compatible with the mobo chipset. Checked the manufacturer's website and all i got was:

"The PnP feature offers a range of speed and timing options to support the widest variety of processors and chipsets. Your maximum speed will be determined by your BIOS"

No specifics. The memory i talk about is a HyperX HX421C14FR/16
Would like to know if it's compatible with the mobo i mentioned above.
And if that mobo and ddr4 would work fine with a Intel I7-6700k on win7 64

Thanks

Heard way too much bad stuff about win10. Would be willing to overlook it if it wasn't for the forced update thing.
I got lucky once and got warned by a friend that a win update was making some win7 asus mobo rigs unable to boot
immediately disable updates and haven't updated in almost 2 year. Win10's forced update would make me paranoid today you boot normally but tomorrow? no one knows...

Thank you very much for the memory compatibility thing. I had found another mobo to support the other ddr4 i had found but this mobo is better so glad i can still keep it on my shopping list.

Win 10 isnt that scary but you missed the free update. I had some issues with the update but clean win10 reinstal solved it. There is few thinks you switch off in it to make it simpler and you good to go. The thread is somewhere on forum where and what to turn off or disable.
I boot up ok yesterday and will do for many years ahead...
