[SOLVED] DDR4 Memory stuck at 2666 MHz?

I've been trying to help my friend fix his memory speed on his new budget build. He has a i3-10xxx (something) CPU and a 2x8GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM in an MSI B460-A Pro motherboard. Even with XMP enabled, it doesn't appear he can get past 2666 MHz. I think it is because of the CPU he has. Can anyone verify this... or tell us what the solution is to run the RAM at 3200 MHz?
I've attached a couple BIOS photos of what we're seeing if they help.

1st pic: I click on "AUTO"
2nd pic: these are our only choices, even with XMP Profile 1 enabled. Profile 2 is unavailable to us.

Only Intel Z-series motherboards can run RAM at speeds above the CPU's IMC native memory clock.

The Intel i3 10100 CPU has a max supported native memory speed of 2666MHz, which means that's the highest the RAM is going to run with that combination of a B-series motherboard and the current CPU, regardless of the rated max frequency of the meomry modules.

That MB only supports 2666 RAM with an i5 or below and up to 2933 with an i7 or i9.

Ah! We missed that entirely. And I never considered that any modern board today would limit the RAM speed to anything that low. Thank you. Problem solved.
