Hi.
I wonder if there's significant difference between

DDR4 running at 2400 MHz
and
DDR4 running at 3000/3600 Mhz

when it comes to performance and gaming

Does it worth to buy expensiver version (3000Mhz currently) and overclock RAM frequency?

for gaming, no. no significant difference. you will not notice any improvement that is worth the extra cash you have to pay for them.
Higher speed ram is for people who run applications ( not games) that is ram focused, then higher speed ram will make a difference.
