I have decided to run 16GB (4x4GB) of CORSAIR DOMINATOR PLATINUM DDR4 memory in my new build and have narrowed my decision to three models of differing frequencies and timings (outlined below). I know that the real world performance differences between these models is going to be basically identical but since each of these are about the same price, I want to purchase whichever one is theoretically the best performing. Note that the 2666MHz and 2800Mhz models are 1.2V whereas the 3000MHz model is 1.35V. After overclocking the memory (and potentially running each model at 1.35V) would the 2800MHz be a better choice than the 3000Mhz model because of the tighter timings? I don't have much experience with memory so I would really appreciate any support, input, and suggestions offered. Thank you very much for your time!
