Right now I have a topic about my trouble deciding between 4790k and 6700k and I should probably ask here.

The biggest difference processor architectures apparently offer is the choice between DDRs.

Should the type change my opinion on the processor I can get?

From how I read the memory advantage is probably clearly on the 4790k's column because DDR3 is superior considering latency.

Was wondering, why do you have 32gb of RAM?

I've got 32GB in all my main rigs, I never know what types of projects may roll in to my business, and it's not unusual to go over 20+GB at any given time, or even max out the 32. Am looking to upgrade my Skylake to 64 GB, as is when I need a rig with more DRAM, my neighbor has a pair of X97 rigs and soon to go X99 and 128GB she's a project engineer for a defense contractor.

Cool!
