Ddr4 ram issue

1 stick of only 2400 anarchy memory
Installed in MSI tomahawk b350
Ryzen 5 1600x

PC won't boot
Gives 3 beeps and then shuts down.

When I placed a second ram stick in the right way it needed to go it beeped 3 times and then this time brought me to bios and shown that both ram sticks were present in the system but did not display a name on one

Being you have two sticks.....I would try one stick in each slot.
Then I would try the other stick in each slot.
Just with one stick each time....and keep track of what happens.
I think this might give you an idea of what's going on.
