DDR4 rams references with motherboards CL15 CL16

hello,

Sorry i dont know much about this.

F4-3000C15D-16GTZR (2X8CL15) i got this ram ,

Will it go on this motherboard: Asus PRIME X470-PRO?, the motherboard says it only supports:
F4-3000C16D-16GTZR (2X8CL16)
OR
F4-3000C15D-8GTZR (2X4CL15) , will it be a problem?

Since you already have the memory I would just try it, very likely it will work -- at least at the timings of the QVL 16D (so 16-18-18-38 instead of the tested 15D timings of 15-16-16-35).

Most AMD memory problems were with early Ryzen CPUs, and Ryzen 2 has much better compatibility.

Even if it is an issue, you should be fine if you just contact G.Skill support, as they will often just swap a set for another similar (like the 16D) if there is an issue.
