[SOLVED] Dead ASRock Z77 Extreme4 - what should I replace it with? (or should I?)

Hi!

I have an apparently dead ASRock Z77 Extreme4 mobo. I am considering bringing this box back to life as a Minecraft server or similar, but maybe it isn't worth resurrecting? What mobo should I replace it with? It seems a lot of boards from this vintage are as pricey as current ones - I thought this would be a cheap fix, since this PC is 8 years old! haha

It'll be a light box as I've scavenged some things from it - so it'll have it's old processor (i5, I think) and CPU fan, an old Radeon HD6870 video card, 8 GB RAM (2x4), Corsair CX600 (I know, yuck, but it works), old HDD...

Suggestions? Bury it or use it as a 'server' for stuff? Thanks for reading!

All depends on what a replacement board costs on the used market.

US... Agreed. I can't seem to find much under $90 - $100 shipped, which seems crazy to resurrect this old box... Thanks for replying!
