Hi guys, so here's the problem, last night I forgot to close my window, which points directly at my pc. So rain fell and little droplets entered the case. Problem is little to no water touched the components (most of it was in the case fan) so I dried up my entire pc and left it to dry overnight.
So I turned it up today and mobo has a red light that has written CPU LED above. So idk if the motherboard or cpu are bad or something else (everything turns on alright besides that)
Pc specs:
-FX 4300 black edition
-ASUS Sabertooth 990fx
-NZXT S340
- Gigabyte gtx 770 4gb model
- 8gb ddr3 1800mhz Kingston
-EVGA 650 semi modular 80+ bronze PSU
-1tb WD blue HDD

its prob the cpu...take the cpu out and let it try DO NOT USE TOWELS the pieces of paper towels or any kind of towel will stick to the cpu, let it air dry. Dry everthing off in the case. and try again if the cpu is dead upgrade to fx 8300 series and make sure you face the pc away from window

Hi, i think its the motherboard, I already checked the cpu and its fine, no signs of water or short circuit in the cpu itself.

I bought a cheap $30 motherboard already, so if its the cpu well I can return the motherboard back and get my money for a new and much needed upgrade.Thx
